• Ensuring the material for production in the required quality and quantity and within the required date on the basis of information included in the database system
• Active searching of potential suppliers (Asia)
• Creating orders based on the production need and monitors execution of orders
• Finding out shortcomings in the procurement chain ensures a remedy of the actual situation by a delivery in replacement, complaint settlement proceeding or in any other way ensuring continuous production
• Identifying the cause of a problem situation occurred, to stipulate a corrective action in cooperation with the supplier and to monitor its fulfilment
• Regularly re-evaluating suppliers and tries to improve price of purchased material continuously, to decrease delivery times, to improve cash flows and purchases material in quantities adequate to production requirements
• Cooperating with warehouse, monitors the material stock and control correct quantities in stock and database
• Maintaining material in reasonable quantities with regard to production needs
• Respecting commercial conventions and tries his/her best at maintaining fair relations between suppliers and customers
• Communicating with suppliers about all facts concerning procurement of material
