Job description:
- Establish standards and procedures, organize and supervise tests to control raw materials (supplier quality management), products in process and finished products to their conformity with product quality specifications
- Determine actions in cases of non-conformity to ensure that all products shipped to customers meet customer quality requirements
- Analyse quality complaints from customers and implement appropriate actions to prevent recurrence of the complaint
- Implement robust systems to qualify new vendors and runs regular audits to maintain a high quality suppliers base
- Signs for QM system based on ISO 9001:2000 and EM system based on ISO 14001:2004
- Ensure constant awareness of quality standards in production and provide ad-hoc training when/if required
- Participate on day-to-day quality management
- Participate on PD, KPI’s, P&L and forecasting process
- Lead Quality and Laboratory team
- Develop Quality systems and procedures towards quality standards

Additional requirements:
- University degree in management or technical orientation – preferred electrical engineering
- 5-7 years experience in quality role in production
- At least 3 years in management leadership position
- >10 years overall industrial experience in manufacturing environment
- Fluent English, German language is an advantage
- Deep knowledge of quality MS 9001:2000 and environmental MS 14001:2004
- IT skills (MS Office package, SAP/R3, Databases)
- Process & continuous improvement & result orientation, detail oriented, decisive, effective time management and personal organization, tactical and strategic thinking
